Welcome to my first blog and my first post. There are a few categories here that talk about me, my interests and goals including why my wife and I are pursuing this walk across Spain, which fortunately we have the time and means to do. From 11 April 2014 (World Parkinson’s Day) I plan to post daily even if it is very short (wi-fi permitting) and would welcome your joining us on this journey by adding your own responses when you feel inclined, or sending emails. We look forward to your company and your feedback – until the next post .Will and Corrie
My first ever post
About the Author: Will Boag
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2010 and am in the middle stages. My symptoms include a decline in muscle movement; occasional muscle spasm and internal trembling of the left side of my body and mouth; intermittent external trembling of my left arm; restless arms and legs; decreased facial expressions; an abnormally high production of phlegm; tiredness; and lower voice intonation. These symptoms have mostly remained unchanged since diagnosis.
This walk is about showcasing that life doesn't end with Parkinson's, in my case it has given me a kick-start to live an rich life and working towards the best possible outcome.

I’ll be 65 on ANZAC Day. Was diagnosed with PD in Jan 2006. I intend to do as much as I can for as long as I can. I wish you all the best in your endeavours.
Great to be part of your blog William. Thinking of you and Corrie as you prepare for your trip. This is my first time involved with a BLOG too.
Lots of love and look forward to accompanying you on this great adventure.
